PAVILION TOWNSHIP POLICY ON BURNING

There are currently no ordinances that prohibit burning in our Township. We ask that if you are planning a sizeable fire, you can call the Township Hall (269-327-0462)

We will send the time and address to the Fire Dept. to notify them. (Otherwise you may get a surprise Fire Dept. visit if somebody reports smoke coming from your property)!

It is allowable to burn paper products etc. in a burn barrel or other safely confined enclosure.

Burning of garbage, plastics or hazardous material is prohibited. (Also see "refuse disposal")
